Reward Challenge 2

Welcome in Ekki Bobby and Audrey. Your tribes have trusted you to represent them in this challenge. That is a lot of trust, because the three of you are about to turn this game upside down.

We're going to be playing a simple game of Lsquared Twenty-One. I'll deal you each cards. You'll have an opportunity to bet and the person who is closest to 21 without busting will win the pot.

Each of you will start with $500. Every round, you'll each place an ante of $50. I'll deal 1 card to each of you face up. At this stage you'll be able to wager any amount of your remaining money in $50 increments. The other players will have a chance to match your wager or fold (no raising). After the betting round, I'll deal cards to the player with the lowest card showing. You can continue to get cards until you choose to stay or you bust over 21. This continues until only 1 player remains to collect that round's pot. If you tie, you can choose to split the pot. The first person to run out of money will lose the challenge.

I'll be using a standard 52-card deck. There are also 2 jokers. If you get a joker, you'll automatically win that hand.

What are you playing for? The person who loses the challenge will have their tribe disband. The two winning players will schoolyard pick the losing tribe's players onto theirs. Whichever player has the most money when the challenge ends will get first pick. You'll continue to pick until both tribes have 7 players.

There is 1 additional twist to the challenge. As I stated, you'll begin with $500 in the pot. You can start with more money if you're willing to sacrifice tribe members. For each person you're willing to drop from your tribe, I'll add $1000 to your beginning pot. At the end of the challenge, the players you sacrifice will be drafted onto the remaining tribes along with the losing tribe.

For instance- if Ekki sacrifices 2 players, you'd start with $2500 for the challenge. If Bobby sacrifices all 3, you'd start with $3500 and if Audrey sacrifices 1 member, you'd start with $1500. If Ekki is the first to run out of money, your tribe would disband and all 5 members would be placed into the schoolyard pick, along with the 1 Audrey sacrificed and the 3 from Bobby. Bobby and Audrey would then draft those 9 players onto their tribes until we have two tribes of 7. So you could sacrifice a player and then be able to draft them right back onto your tribe.

I will give you a couple minutes to decide which players you're willing to sacrifice for the challenge. Post in your confessional area the names of the players you are willing to drop.

One final thing: at the end of the challenge, all of the players will converge and I will announce the new tribes. I will not mention how those tribes were created, won't mention that players were sacrificed or anything. All I say is that the 3 of you competed in a challenge and the results are these 2 tribes. None of the other players will ever have access to this thread. The three of you can use any information from this challenge as you please, or not tell anybody any details.

Once all 3 of you post in your confessional who you want to sacrifice, we'll get started. You can decide not to sacrifice anyone, in which case post that in your confessional.
